Flanged wheels – precise solutions for rail and conveyor technology

Flanged wheels made of steel, stainless steel, or polyamide are part of our standard product range. We also manufacture flanged wheels made of steel or stainless steel with vulcanized treads made of polyurethane or Vulkollan® upon request. Our standard dimensions range from 50 mm to 400 mm in diameter. We are happy to produce special sizes and materials according to individual customer specifications.

Diverse materials for the highest demands

For our flanged wheels, we use high-quality steels such as C45, S355 (material no. 1.0045), as well as stainless steels such as 1.4301 (V2A) or 1.4571 (V4A). These materials offer excellent mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance – ideal for demanding applications.

Flexible storage options and mounting options

We supply our flanged wheels with different wheel bearings:

• Precision ball bearings

• Fitting hole with keyway for key according to DIN 6885

• Special solutions such as flanged gear, belt pulley or integrated axle

Production is always carried out according to customer specifications and after the order has been placed – precisely tailored to the respective application.

Flanged wheels as drive wheels

In addition to their function as pure track rollers, our flanged wheels are also ideal as drive wheels in conveyor systems and rail systems. We also optionally manufacture versions with toothed flanges for special drive concepts.

Perfect fit for support rails and rail profiles

All flanged wheels can be factory-adjusted to the contours of the rails. They are used as track rollers in steel beams such as IPN or IPE profiles. For example, with IPN profiles, the tread slopes 3° to the axis as standard – this slope can be customized.

Flanged fixed castors and heavy-duty versions

Our flanged wheels are also available as flanged fixed casters – in combination with robust caster housings. We cover a wide range, from mini heavy-duty casters with a diameter of 50 mm to mega heavy-duty casters with a diameter of 400 mm and load capacities of up to 10,000 kg.

Special designs and modular system

For special requirements, we also develop and manufacture multi-part flanged wheels. The flange and tread are bolted together, allowing only the wear-relevant components to be replaced easily and cost-effectively. This design also facilitates transport and installation in hard-to-reach locations, such as when installed directly into machines.

Custom designs based on drawings or specific operating conditions are possible at any time. This creates tailor-made solutions for a wide range of industries – from conveyor technology and mechanical engineering to specialized applications in automation.
