Where is it sensible to use heavy-duty castors?

Of course, the different environmental influences play a role, such as temperature, pollution, humidity, as well as the subsoil and soil conditions.   • Heavy-duty castors up to 750 kg

    The first level are heavy-duty castors up to 50 kg, these are small to medium-sized heavy-duty castors that are relatively small due to their compact design, but still have a high load-bearing capacity.
    Likewise, with heavy-duty castors up to 750 kg, we are talking about castors made of pressed sheet steel with a wheel diameter of up to 200 mm. But also steel-welded heavy-duty castors with 80 -125 mm and the mounting plate 105 x 80 mm, which are characterized by a particularly compact and stable design and thus with
    low overall height offers particularly high load capacities.

  • Heavy duty castors up to 1300 kg

    Heavy-duty castors up to 1300 kg already come with castor housings welded exclusively from steel
    correspondingly load-bearing wheels. Heavy-duty castors up to 1300 kg are available as swivel castors, fixed castors and swivel castors with parking brakes. The steerability of the castors is ensured by two bearings in the fork head. Both a tapered roller bearing according to DIN 720 and an axial deep groove ball bearing according to DIN 711
    are installed in the fork head and thus ensure high stability and load capacity.

  • Heavy duty castors up to 2500 kg

    For heavy-duty castors up to 2500 kg, we offer castors with single wheels as well as double wheels. Double castors usually have the same overall height as castors with single wheels, but are much more stable because the total load is distributed over 2 wheels. We offer elastic rubber, polyurethane, as well as polyamide and steel wheels as wheel materials.

    We offer heavy-duty castors in many different versions. In addition to swivel castors and fixed castors, we also offer swivel castors with brakes, fixed castors with wheel brakes and swivel castors with directional locks.

Heavy-duty castors with directional lock

In the case of swivel castors with direction locks, the heavy-duty castor can be adjusted in the direction of travel by actuating a lever. This makes it easy to drive straight ahead without swinging out. The heavy-duty castors can be actuated, for example, with a hand lever or foot pedal.
