Collection: Polyamide and polyurethane guide rollers

Guide rollers have two uses. On the one hand, for the guidance of goods and goods on conveyor systems, on the other hand, to hold mobile devices and systems such as rail-guided cable trolleys on the carrier.

For this reason they are different from casters, simply held with a ball bearing in the middle, but with a larger diameter of the bearing, since higher speeds usually prevail. Guide rollers are usually installed horizontally.

Polyamide guide rollers

Basically, guide rollers made of polyamide have no damping capacity, but they are extremely stable and durable.

There are also two types of polyamide guide rollers. Guide rollers that are manufactured using the injection molding process are generally cheaper, but due to the lower density they are not as stable as guide rollers made of cast polyamide. The guide rollers made of PA6G (cast polyamide) are extremely stable, resilient and durable. These guide rollers are turned from solid material and are usually more precise than guide rollers made from injection-moulded polyamide.
