Flanged wheel with PU or Vulkollan on stainless steel core V2A | Flange Ø 180 mm | Tread Ø 150 mm
Technische Daten
Flanged wheel with PU or Vulkollan® tread on 1.4301 (V2A) stainless steel core | Flange Ø 180 mm | Tread Ø 150 mm
Turned stainless steel flanged wheel with cast-on elastomer tread. The V2A core carries the load and protects against corrosion and chemical stress, while the PU or Vulkollan® tread absorbs shocks and protects the running surface. The circumferential flange keeps the wheel securely on the track.
Tread — Selection
Polyurethane MDI — High-quality MDI polyurethane, abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant and with good damping properties. Economical choice for medium to high loads in industrial and warehouse environments. Hardness approx. 92 Shore A. Temperature -20°C to +80°C.
Vulkollan® — Premium elastomer from Covestro, highest load capacity with elastic running, extremely abrasion-resistant, suitable for continuous load. First choice for heavy-duty applications, AGVs/FTS and applications with continuous operation. Hardness approx. 92 Shore A. Temperature -20°C to +80°C.
Core material: Stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A)
Corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel 1.4301 (V2A). For humid environments, cleanrooms, food processing, pharmaceutical industry, and outdoor use without additional coating. Resistant to mild acids, good polishability, FDA compliant with appropriate tread selection.
Typical application areas
Food production, beverage and brewing technology, pharmaceutical and cosmetic manufacturing, cleanroom applications (ISO Class 5–8), damp storage areas, outdoor use on crane rails, as well as AGV/FTS systems with hygiene requirements.
Note on custom production
These wheels are made to order from stainless steel. Delivery and price upon request. Special diameters, different axle bore tolerances, and V4A (1.4571, acid-resistant) available upon request.
Version — Selection
With ball bearing — For free-running wheels with low rolling resistance and high mileage. The low-maintenance ball bearing enables smooth, consistent running even during continuous operation.
