Why PU wheel with aluminum rim?
The soft PU coating protects floors, dampens vibrations, and rolls smoothly even under load. The aluminum rim keeps the weight of the castor low – important for frequently moved trolleys in shift operation.
Quality & Workmanship

Swivel Caster
Do not exceed the maximum load capacity per caster – distribute total load evenly across all casters
Use only on level, clean surfaces – unevenness, tracks, or gaps can lead to tilting
Never use swivel casters as the sole attachment – always combine with a sufficient number of fixed casters (recommendation: 2 swivel + 2 fixed casters)
Regular visual inspection for wear, cracks, or damage to the wheel and swivel housing
Do not use on inclines or declines without additional securing
Regularly check the tightening torque of the mounting screws
Fixed Caster
Observe direction of travel – fixed casters are not rotatable and must not be subjected to lateral loads
Avoid lateral impact loads – this can lead to rim or bearing failure
Always use in combination with swivel casters
Check the mounting for sufficient load-bearing capacity of the substructure
Regularly check the ball bearing for smooth running
Swivel Caster with Brake
Always apply the brake when the vehicle is stationary – especially on inclined surfaces
Never apply the brake under load – first stop, then brake
Do not use the brake as a permanent load holder on inclines – only as a securing device on level surfaces
Regular functional check of the braking mechanism – the brake must engage and release without effort
If the brake is defective, replace the caster immediately – do not continue to operate
Only operate the brake with your foot – never with tools or by kicking against the wheel
