Technical data
U-groove roller made of polyamide 6G with keyway and circumferential U-groove tread profile for secure guidance on a tube with Ø 31.75 mm (1 1/4"). The bore has a hub keyway to DIN 6885 and can therefore be connected to a shaft in a positive-locking way – for driven rollers and drive functions. Polyamide 6G is a high-strength, abrasion-resistant engineering plastic with low weight, quiet running and gentle action on the mating surface. Manufactured to order.

Keyway instead of ball bearing
This version does not run on ball bearings, but sits in a positive-locking way on the shaft. The hub keyway to DIN 6885 accepts a key and thus transmits the torque between shaft and roller. Typical for driven conveyor tracks, deflection pulleys on shafts and all applications where the roller should rotate with the shaft rather than run freely. If the roller is instead required to run freely, the version with ball bearings is the right choice.
Properties of polyamide 6G
- High strength with low weight
- Excellent abrasion resistance and wear resistance
- Quiet running compared with steel on steel
- Gentle on the steel mating surface (tube)
- Resistant to oils, greases and many chemicals
- Electrically insulating
Applications
U-groove rollers made of polyamide 6G with keyway are used wherever the roller is driven via a shaft or must sit in a positive-locking way: conveyor tracks in mechanical engineering, special-purpose machinery, overhead conveyors and noise-sensitive applications.
