Technical data
U-profile roller made of polyamide 6G with keyway and circumferential U-profile tread contour for secure guidance on a tube with Ø 30 mm. The bore has a hub groove according to DIN 6885 and can therefore be connected to a shaft with positive locking – for driven rollers and drive functions. Polyamide 6G is a high-strength, abrasion-resistant technical plastic with low weight, quiet running and gentle on the mating surface. Made to order.

Keyway instead of ball bearing
This version does not run on ball bearings, but sits with positive locking on the shaft. The hub groove according to DIN 6885 accepts a key and thus transfers the torque between shaft and roller. Typical for driven conveyor tracks, deflection pulleys on shafts and all applications in which the roller should rotate with the shaft rather than run freely. If the roller is instead required to run freely, the version with ball bearings is the right choice.
Properties of polyamide 6G
- High strength with low weight
- Very good abrasion resistance and wear resistance
- Quiet running compared with steel on steel
- Gentle on the steel mating surface (tube)
- Resistant to oils, greases and many chemicals
- Electrically insulating
Areas of application
U-profile rollers made of polyamide 6G with keyway are used where the roller is driven via a shaft or must sit with positive locking: conveyor tracks in mechanical engineering, special-purpose machines, suspended conveyors and noise-sensitive applications.
