Technical data
U-groove roller made of polyamide 6G with keyway and circumferential U-groove tread contour for secure guidance on a tube with Ø 25 mm. The bore has a hub groove to DIN 6885 and can therefore be connected to a shaft in a torque-resistant manner – for driven rollers and conveying functions. Polyamide 6G is a high-strength, wear-resistant technical plastic with low weight, quiet running and gentle action on the mating surface. Made to order.

Keyway instead of ball bearing
This version does not run on ball bearings, but sits in a torque-resistant manner on the shaft. The hub groove to DIN 6885 accepts a key and thus transmits the torque between shaft and roller. Typical for driven conveyor lines, deflection pulleys on shafts and all applications in which the roller should rotate with the shaft rather than run freely. If the roller is required to run freely instead, the version with ball bearings is the right choice.
Properties of polyamide 6G
- High strength with low weight
- Very good abrasion resistance and wear resistance
- Quiet running compared with steel on steel
- Gentle on the steel mating surface (tube)
- Resistant to oils, greases and many chemicals
- Electrically insulating
Areas of application
U-groove rollers made of polyamide 6G with keyway are used where the roller is driven via a shaft or must sit in a torque-resistant manner: conveyor systems in mechanical engineering, special-purpose machinery, overhead conveyors and noise-sensitive applications.
