Flanged wheels made of steel, stainless steel or polyamide are part of our standard product range. In addition, on request, we also manufacture flanged wheels made of steel or stainless steel with a vulcanised tread made of polyurethane or Vulkollan®. Our standard dimensions range from 50 mm to 400 mm in diameter. We are happy to produce special sizes and special materials to your individual specifications.

Frequently asked questions

What are flanged wheels and flanged rollers used for?
The flange guides the wheel safely on rails, profiles or guide rails and prevents sideways run-out. Typical applications include sliding gates, warehouse handling equipment and rail-guided transport systems.

Which materials are flanged wheels available in?
As standard, we manufacture in steel, stainless steel or polyamide. On request, versions with a vulcanised tread of polyurethane or Vulkollan® are also available.

When is a vulcanised tread useful?
An elastomer tread reduces running noise, protects the rail and improves traction. Pure metal wheels, by contrast, have the advantage with very high loads and harsh conditions.
